Visual Communication Specialist

We are Garden City Realty, a well-established Vacation Rental and Real Estate firm located in Garden City Beach, seeking a motivated self-starter with a natural eye for lighting and photo composition to join our Communications and Marketing Team. Working closely with our Communications and Marketing Manager, the Visual Communication Specialist will: * Manage the production of still photography and visual tours for all of our vacation rental properties * Curate visual content for our various marketing channels (print, social media, websites) * Utilize basic photography principles to compose quality photographs * Edit and digitally manipulate images through Photoshop and/or other photography software * Utilize drone photographic equipment and software * Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, client communications, and maintaining an up-to-date portfolio Preferred Qualifications: * The ideal candidate for this position will have strong videography and photography skills, experience in multimedia storytelling, ability to work both independently and as a team, and willingness to travel to company locations and events in the Grand Strand area on a regular basis. * A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is desired. One to three years of relevant experience in real estate or aerial photography and/or Adobe Creative Cloud application is a plus.
