Visual Merchandising Photographer

The Product Photographer works in conjunction with the warehouse staff to photograph products in various ways that show their details and features according to AVGear’s photography and listing procedures. • Fast learner • Positive attitude & be dependable • Experience with computers and a basic understanding of cameras and photography • Exceptional attention to detail • The ability to lift 50 lbs or more • Some experience using cameras • High School Diploma or equivalent • Some knowledge of AudioVisual equipment • Experience with computers and a basic understanding of photography, photography equipment, and IT The duties of a Product Photographer include but are not limited to: • Report to Photography Department Supervisor, all AVGear management • Keep all information confidential concerning AVGear business • Act in a professional manner at all times • Report to work on time, at the time(s) prescribed by management • Understand and follow all AVGear Policies and Procedures • Accurately photograph products based on the SKU information and in accordance with department standards to take quality photographs of warehouse inventory items • Ensure that all non-manufacturer markings, labels, stickers, or identifiers are removed before inventory is photographed • Communicate directly with the Department Supervisor concerning the status of ongoing photos and PO’s • Be accountable for your equipment, your work area, and the products you are handling • Properly and safely use, maintain, and store all equipment • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s are met • Inform supervisor if KPI’s were not met on a per-shift basis before the shift is completed, including the reasons as to why they were not met • Become autonomous and work independently with little direction after completion of departmental training • Work adjacently to and in conjunction with other departments in the workplace • Maintain a safe, clean and organized working space at all times • Identify, report to management, and fix safety hazards in the workplace • Become familiar with AV equipment as a core competency of the Product Photographer position • Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned in the weekly chore assignment • Perform additional warehouse duties as needed, including but not limited to: • Testing and reconditioning of inventory • Loading and unloading deliveries • Moving, sorting, staging, picking, stocking, or otherwise handling inventory • Actively participate in and enforce AVGear’s safety policy • Perform cross-department duties as needed or assigned by supervisor or management Pay: From $15.00 per hour Location: • Las Vegas, NV 89109 (Preferred)
