Company Description Since 2005, IRIS has served refugees, asylees, and other vulnerable non-citizen communities, helping them navigate complex systems and build stable lives. This role involves documenting IRIS programs, events, and client stories through high-quality photography to support outreach, fundraising, and community engagement. The Volunteer Photographer will collaborate with the IRIS team to provide imagery for print and digital materials, including social media, newsletters, and reports. Demonstrated skills in digital photography, including composition, lighting, and camera operation.Experience with basic photo editing and file management Ability to work respectfully with people from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic backgrounds.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to follow direction and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.High level of discretion and professionalism, including adherence to confidentiality, consent, and ethical storytelling practices.Reliability and time management skills to be dependable at IRIS eventsInterest in immigrant and refugee rights, community service, or social justice; prior nonprofit or community work is a plus.Ability to lift and carry photography equipment as needed and move between program sites and event locations.
