The National Foster Youth Institute is seeking a volunteer photographer to capture a powerful group photo of foster youth activists on the steps of the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday, June 11 between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. This annual photo is a highlight of our Congressional Foster Youth Shadow Day, which brings young leaders from across the country to Washington, D.C. to share their experiences and shape child welfare policy. Your photo will help us celebrate their voices and inspire others to support this vital work. This is a quick shoot — just 30–45 minutes of your time — and we’ll credit your work on our website and social media (unless you prefer to stay anonymous). If you have time to stick around and do a few small group/individual shots that would be great too -- our program participants often use the pictures on their LinkedIn profiles and newsletters at home.
