Weber State University is hiring: Student Photographer/Videographer in Ogden

This experience can count as a paid internship.Responsibilities include:Working with department videographer and photographer to produce quality media products.Assist on photo and video shoots.Photographing events and daily life at Weber State.Supporting the department in producing media that shares WSU success stories.Other office duties as assigned.Required QualificationsApplicants should be creative and have strong communication skills; possess good work habits and can assist with multiple projects at a time; have familiarity with pre- and post-production work.Preferred QualificationsWe are seeking applicants who can represent the university in a professional manner; have a willingness to take direction; have familiarity with cameras, lighting, audio equipment, editing and interviewing; have the desire convey stories through videos and photos.To apply, please submit a resume, cover letter and under other three samples of your work (or a link to an online portfolio).If you are hired, please keep in mind that you will need to complete the appropriate Payroll and HR documents prior to beginning work.The screening of applicants will begin immediately.Due to the Affordable Care Act ( ACA ), individuals who have worked in a salaried capacity for Weber State University are ineligible to be hired as an hourly or adjunct employee at Weber State for six months.Criminal Background check is required as a condition of employment. *This is a pooled position.
