We’re looking for a Website & Digital Presence Art Director to help shape the online legacy of a notable feminist artist-photographer and writer whose influence helped define the Second Wave women’s art movement and the revival of 19th century photographic processes, or “altphoto.” About the Role: In collaboration with our team, you’ll oversee the visual direction and organization of our website, working closely with a programmer to ensure seamless integration and user experience. Awareness of current trends in web design, digital art presentation, and visual storytelling.Optional: Possibly assist with social media content creation, aligning the visual storytelling with the website’s design and tone (if desired).Qualifications:Strong experience in art direction, web design, and digital visual storytelling.Proven ability to direct the design and layout of websites, with a keen understanding of connecting look and feel with the subject matter. Strong photo editing and web graphics skills (Adobe Suite including LIghtroom are a must; familiarity with web platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, or similar is a bonus).Experience working with a team to develop digital content, with an eye for aesthetics that will fit this artist-photographer.
