Wedding Photographer

Tower Studios is hiring a dependable, experienced Wedding Photographer for wedding-day coverage in the Greater St. Louis area (and occasionally surrounding regions). This is a shooting-only role—no editing required. You’ll capture the full wedding day using our timeline and shot list, then deliver all original files to our team via secure FTP upload.

What you’ll do

Photograph wedding day coverage (details, prep, ceremony, portraits, reception, key moments)Work efficiently within a timeline and coordinate smoothly with our video/photo teamDeliver consistent, well-exposed, sharp images in a fast-moving environmentHandle tricky lighting situations (dark churches, mixed reception lighting, backlight, etc.)Back up and deliver all RAW files promptly after the eventRequirements

Wedding photography experience (or strong event photography experience)Comfortable directing people during portraits (family formals, couple portraits, wedding party)Professional, calm presence with clients, vendors, and guestsAble to work long wedding days (often 10–12 hours)Reliable transportation and ability to travel locallyAbility to transfer large files (hard drive handoff or FTP upload)Weekend availability (Saturdays; some Fridays/Sundays)
Gear (a plus, not required)

Having your own gear is a big plus, but we can provide a full kit if needed.

Preferred if you have your own:

Dual-card camera bodyBackup body (preferred)Lenses suitable for weddings (24–70, 70–200, fast prime, etc.)Flash / speedlight experience (and/or off-camera flash familiarity)Plenty of batteries, cards, and basic redundancy
