Role Description The Wedding Photographer will work on an as need basis, capturing weddings and related events from preparation through reception. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning shot lists with clients, scouting locations, photographing ceremonies and receptions, and directing couples and guests to achieve flattering, natural images. The role does not require editing images, preparing online galleries, managing backup workflows, and coordinating timelines with planners and vendors, simply just a second shooter on each event contracted. This position requires regular weekend and evening availability and a professional, client-focused approach.

Qualifications

Strong wedding and event photography skills, including experience in Wedding Photography, Event Photography, and general Photography.Proficiency in Image Editing using industry-standard software and workflows for color correction, retouching, and file management. (will more than likely not be needed but a plus)Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, guide clients and guests, and remain calm in fast-paced event environments.Reliable, professional work ethic with strong time management, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting deadlines.Experience with professional camera bodies, lenses, lighting equipment, and backup systems; ability to troubleshoot technical issues on-site.Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required for wedding and event schedules.Previous experience in wedding photography and a portfolio demonstrating consistent, high-quality work; formal training or education in photography is a plus.
