We are searching for a talented, dynamic and proactive Wedding/Events Venue Manager to represent a newly remodeled and updated venue, The Fillmore on Central (461 Central Avenue) in Fillmore, CA. In this role you will serve as the main point of contact for all event inquiries, including conducting tours and site visits, negotiating contracts and offering on-site support on the day of each event. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with an attention to detail will be vital in this role. Must have experience working in the wedding industry, arranging corporate events or having worked in hospitality events. Secure testimonials post-event to be used to promote the event Provide ongoing updates of booking status along with recommendations to improve booking numbers Proactive outreach to local planners to build awareness for the venue Proactive outreach to local businesses to build corporate events bookings Represent the property at any relevant industry events as needed Coordinating with existing PR/marketing team to promote the venue Manage the venue's Instagram account through regular posts and monitoring of comments.
