Gnarly Vines is a vibrant, adored neighborhood wine and spirits shop in Fort Greene, Brooklyn that's been open for over 14 years. We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented person to help out in our local, community-driven business. WSET certification a plus! \\- Be passionate and curious about wine and spirits, and pro-active in learning more \\- Process in-store sales, phone and online orders \\- Have a strong sense of hospitality and the ability to communicate effectively with customers \\- Restock and maintain appearance of the store \\- Help out with local deliveries on foot and/or using our custom pedal-assist cargo bicycle \\- Have solid computer, photography and graphic design skills \\- Contribute content for website, shelf talkers and social media \\- Commit to at least 25hrs per week (3 to 5 shifts) \\- Be flexible as your schedule will include nights, weekends and holidays \\- Able to lift 40 lbs up and down a flight of stairs If you are interested in working in a fun, well-managed wine shop, we would like to hear from you.
